Canon's XA20 is an excellent prosumer camcorder with an upgraded 20x zoom lens and eight-blade circular aperture. With manual modes, a five axis image stabilization system, a new automatic correction circuit and options for various microphone and accessory attachments, this camcorder should put out high quality video for its compact size. But, with features like a 3.5 inch touch screen and wi-fi, the XA20 should also be easy (and fun) to use. Overall, the Canon XA20 is an excellent advanced camcorder; however, the short battery life and lack of built-in memory adds significantly to the price since serious users will need the extended battery back and a large SD card.
