Flip UltraHD 8GB (2010)
Editor's Review
This latest (late 2010) Flip UltraHD is a modest but welcome upgrade from its predecessor. The new model features a redesigned sensor which shoots about 2 hours of 720p HD video at 60 frames per second (on this 8GB model) and captures richer colors. That's nice, though several competitors already shoot 1080p. Most importantly, the UltraHD now feature image stabilization, which goes a long way toward smoothing out footage. The other notable addition is an accessory port, which can be used to hook up external storage devices, a pico projector, or an external mic. The dead-simple interface and sharing experience remains intact as well. This simple update doesn't look like much, but it actually goes a long way toward resolving the shortcomings of previous models.

Flip UltraHD 8GB (2010) Comments & Questions (write your own!)
Not sure if you already own the camera or are trying to decide, but if the two hour thing is a dealbreaker (understandably), take a look at the Kodak Playsport. Better quality video than the Flip, still pocket-sized, waterproof, and it uses SD cards for storage, so you can keep recording as long as you have spare SD cards.
