Number one point made in reviews of the GZ-HD620: It's Tiny. Touted as the world's smallest HD camcorder (to date), the GZ-HD620 crams 120GB of storage, a 30x optical zoom lens, and an image sensor capable of 1920 x 1080 HD recording... into a wee camera body that weighs just over half a pound. Pretty astounding, as is the list of features: Super LoLux low-light technology, One-Touch export, Face Detection, and Laser Touch screen controls make this one about as high-tech as it gets (at least, this week). If you're in the market for an HD camcorder, you can certainly go cheaper than this... but if you're looking for all the newest technology in a cam that weighs less than most people's lunches, you should probably take a look at this one.
