Editor's Review
The HM650 is one of JVC mid-range HD camcorders for 2011. As with most camcorders in this category, the HM650 shoots 1080p video in AVCHD format, but unlike most, it's equipped with a huge 40x zoom lens, which can extend out to 70x in standard-def mode. JVC camcorders don't necessarily carry the gravitas of other brands, but offer solid video and stacked feature sets, like we see here. The HM650 records to SD/SDHC cards, as well as a 8GB of flash memory; also check out the HM690, with 64GB of built-in memory, and the HM670, with 32GB of built-in memory.
