JVC's HM860 has some noteworthy 2D-shooting capability. It matches that of the top-of-the-line HM960, but leaves out the 2D-to-3D conversion and 3D LCD -- in our opinion, the HM860 seems like a better option. Thanks to the 1/4.1-inch backside-illuminated CMOS sensor, it should should impressive low-light scenes and have overall crisp image quality. The Bluetooth capability could come in handy for roving reporters that need to transfer video quickly, too. It's rounded out by a 10x optical zoom, 29.5mm wide-angle, and a generous 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD.
