The GZ-MS250 is a standard-def camcorder from JVC that offers the option of recording to in-camera flash or removable SD/SDHC memory cards. It's a pretty basic camcorder in terms of the feature set, with things like Image Stabilization and Time Lapse Recording that we've come to expect. It does offer something a bit different in JVC's so-called Dynamic Zoom at 45x. Dynamic Zoom, which is a sort of mish-mash of optical combined with digital zoom, isn't supposed to degrade image quality the way digital zoom alone can do. Aside from that (and the cool, compact body design that comes in a few color choices) this is a pretty straightforward camcorder; it's nearly identical to the others in the GZ-MS line, differentiated mainly by the built-in memory and how much of it there is (32GB, in this case).
