The Panasonic HDC-SD5 captures full HD video at a crisp 1920 x 1080 pixels, pairing an advanced 3CCD imaging system with a sharp Leica Dicomar lens to produce very good color and detail. The lens features 10x optical zoom and Panasonic's Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) system, as well. The camera records video directly to SD and SDHC cards, and can fit about 1 hour of video onto a 4gb card. This video can then be burned to a DVD and played back on any type of display. For users who need portable HD recording on the fly, this is a solid choice.
