The TM40 is one of Panasonic's modest 1MOS HD camcorders; it's an affordable, meat-and-potatoes video camera. The 1080i video quality comes relatively close to more serious mainstream HD camcorders, while the price tag is closer to a pocket camcorder. The TM40 comes with 16GB of built-in flash memory. Also check out the SD40, which records to SD/SDHC cards only.
