The H18 has since been replaced by the Panasonic SDR-H85, but here's what we wrote about the older model:

The Panasonic SDR-H18 is a full-featured camcorder with a built-in 30-gigabyte hard drive. This massive storage allows you to continuously record up to 27 hours of video without running out of space. It also features an extremely long 32x optical zoom lens with Panasonic's usual Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) system, which can reduce blur from camera shake. Video can be recorded in both widescreen 16:9 and full-frame 4:3 formats, and the camcorder can also take still shots. A large 2.7-inch widescreen LCD display makes framing shots easy on the eyes.
