The E10 is yet another pocket camcorder from Samsung, to complement the previously released H20. There are a few surprises here that separate it from run-of-the-mill shoot-and-shares, like the rotating spherical lens. Rather than a rotating chassis, the lens itself spins within its cavity in the camera. It can't look straight up or down, but it can spin backward, so the cameraman doesn't need to hold the camera any differently. The ample 2.7-inch screen also divides itself into halves: the top for video monitoring, the bottom for controls. Not sure how that will actually work out in practice, but the lens is a nice touch that could win over a few buyers, all other things being equal.
