Sanyo's pistol-grip CG-series camcorders have been some of our favorite compact camcorders over the past few years. Apparently that wasn't good enough for them, as they've entered the Flip-clone fray with the new PD2BK. It's like most other shoot-and-shares these days, offering 1080p video in a rectangular, pocket-sized body. The interface looks pretty crude by the standards we're used to, though it does pack a 3x optical zoom (only one pocket cam can boast that feature). Sanyo is also giving it their typical "dual" tag, which simply means that it takes hi-res still photos as well as videos (most pocket camcorders do this, just so you know). Judging by the specs alone, we're not super-excited about this, but if you see it on sale at a big-box store this holiday season, it'll probably be worth a look.
