The Sony HDR-CX350V shares some of the same bloodlines as its big sister, the CX550V... and based on specifications alone, at least, that's a good thing. This high-def camcorder has a new wide angle G lens that covers about twice the area of typical camcorder lenses. Paired with an EXMOR R low-light-friendly sensor, Optical Steady Shot with 3-Way Shake Control, 12x optical zoom, and 7-megapixel resolution still photos, there's a lot to process here. Sony has packed in lots of new technology like the Golf Shot, which is a cool new sequencing image capture feature that might come in handy when filming, well, golf. Seriously, though, this camera gives you some bang for your buck. The 32GB built-in storage lets you record almost as much 1920 x 1080 high-definition video as you could possibly want. And the built-in GPS is pretty cool, too.
