Sony's top-of-the-line CX700v looks to be one of the premier consumer video cameras of 2011. This pro-sumer shooter packs a lot of high-end features into a user-friendly package. It's similar to the CX560V: same generous 1/2.88" CMOS sensor, same 1080p 24/60fps shooting, same 10x, f1.8 Sony G lens, and the same GPS geo-tagging capability. But the CX700V adds an electronic viewfinder and a manual control dial, and these physical features make it a more serious shooter. It also ups the built-in flash memory to 96GB.
