Sony Handycam HDR-PJ10 Review

Sony Handycam HDR-PJ10
The Sony PJ10 is one of the more interesting camcorders to emerge in 2011. It shoots good-quality 1080p video like plenty of camcorders out there, but it has a pico projector built into the fold-out LCD panel. Users can share video on any wall, right from their video camera. The projector is pretty dim (10 lumens) but the concept is excellent and should work reasonably well unless there's intense direct light. Sony had a mini-darkroom display at CES to demonstrate the effect, but it even worked out under the bright lights of the convention center floor. It won't change the game, but it is pretty cool. For more storage and GPS capabilities, also check out the PJ30V and PJ50V.
